TOpenCLVector.ArcCos Method

Overload List

#SignatureDescription
1function ArcCos: TOpenCLMtxVec;The inverse cosine.
└ indexed: function ArcCos(Index: Integer; Len: Integer): TOpenCLMtxVec;
2function ArcCos(const X: TOpenCLMtxVec): TOpenCLMtxVec;Calculate the inverse cosine of all X object elements.
└ indexed: function ArcCos(const X: TOpenCLMtxVec; XIndex: Integer; Index: Integer; Len: Integer): TOpenCLMtxVec;

Overload 1: function ArcCos: TOpenCLMtxVec;

The inverse cosine.

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Calculate the inverse cosine of all calling object elements in-place. Values must be between -1 and 1. The return values will be in the range [0,Math387.PI], in radians.

Examples
var a: clVector;
begin
    a.CopyFromArray(TSingleArray.Create(1,-0.5,0.11,0.9));
    a.ArcCos;
end;

Indexed: function ArcCos(Index: Integer; Len: Integer): TOpenCLMtxVec;

Calculate the inverse cosine of calling object elements [Index]...[Index+Len-1] in-place.

#NameTypeDescription
1IndexIntegerstart index
2LenIntegerelement count

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

An exception is raised if array borders are overrun.

Overload 2: function ArcCos(const X: TOpenCLMtxVec): TOpenCLMtxVec;

Calculate the inverse cosine of all X object elements.

#NameTypeDescription
1XTOpenCLMtxVecsource TOpenCLVector or TOpenCLMatrix

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Store the results in the calling object. Size and TOpenCLBase.Complex properties of calling object are adjusted automatically.

Indexed: function ArcCos(const X: TOpenCLMtxVec; XIndex: Integer; Index: Integer; Len: Integer): TOpenCLMtxVec;

Calculate the inverse cosine of X object elements [XIndex]...[XIndex+Len-1].

#NameTypeDescription
1XTOpenCLMtxVecsource TOpenCLVector or TOpenCLMatrix
2XIndexIntegerX start index
3IndexIntegerstart index
4LenIntegerelement count

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

The results are stored in calling object elements [Index]...[Index+Len-1]. Size and TOpenCLBase.Complex properties of the calling object must be set explicitly. An exception is raised if array borders are overrun.
