Overload List

#SignatureDescription
1function InvSqrt: TMtxVec;The inverse of square root 1/(v)^1/2.
└ indexed: function InvSqrt(Index: Integer; Len: Integer): TMtxVec;
2function InvSqrt(const X: TMtxVec): TMtxVec;Calculate the inverse of square root for all X elements and store the results in the calling object.
└ indexed: function InvSqrt(const X: TMtxVec; XIndex: Integer; Index: Integer; Len: Integer): TMtxVec;

Overload 1: function InvSqrt: TMtxVec;

The inverse of square root 1/(v)^1/2.

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Calculate the inverse square root (1/(element)^(1/2)) of all calling object elements in-place.

See Also: Matrix.Sqrt

Indexed: function InvSqrt(Index: Integer; Len: Integer): TMtxVec;

Calculate the inverse of square root for calling object elements [Index]..[Index+Len-1] in-place.

#NameTypeDescription
1IndexIntegerstart index
2LenIntegerelement count

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

An exception is raised if Matrix.ConditionCheck is True and array borders are overrun.

Overload 2: function InvSqrt(const X: TMtxVec): TMtxVec;

Calculate the inverse of square root for all X elements and store the results in the calling object.

#NameTypeDescription
1XTMtxVec

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Size and Matrix.Complex properties of the calling Matrix are set implicitly to match the X object.

Indexed: function InvSqrt(const X: TMtxVec; XIndex: Integer; Index: Integer; Len: Integer): TMtxVec;

Calculate the inverse of square root for X elements [XIndex]..[XIndex+Len-1] and store the results in the calling object elements [Index]..[Index+Len-1].

#NameTypeDescription
1XTMtxVec
2XIndexIntegerX start index
3IndexIntegerstart index
4LenIntegerelement count

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Size and Matrix.Complex properties of the calling object must be set explicitly. An exception is raised if Matrix.ConditionCheck is True and array borders are overrun.
