Overload List

#SignatureDescription
1TMtxVec *ArcCot() const;Inverse cotangens.
2TMtxVec *ArcCot(int Index, int Len) const;Calculate the inverse cotangens of calling object elements [Index]...[Index+Len-1] in-place.
3TMtxVec *ArcCot(TMtxVec *X) const;Calculate the inverse cotangens of all X object elements.
4TMtxVec *ArcCot(TMtxVec *X, int XIndex, int Index, int Len) const;Calculate the inverse cotangens of X object elements [XIndex]...[XIndex+Len-1].

Overload 1: TMtxVec *ArcCot() const;

Inverse cotangens.

Remarks:

Calculate the inverse cotangens for all calling object elements in-place. The return values are expressed in radians.

Examples
#include "Math387.h"
#include "MtxExpr.h"

using namespace Dew;
using namespace Dew::Math;

void Example()
{
    Vector a;
    a.SetIt(DewArray<double>{ 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 });
    a.ArcCot();
    Vector expected;
    expected.SetIt(DewArray<double>{ 0.785398163397448, 0.588002603547568, 0.463647609000806, 0.321750554396642 });
    if (!a.IsEqual(expected, 1e-10, TCompare::cmpAbsolute))
        throw tException("Vector.ArcCot: mismatch");
}
#include "MtxExpr.h"

void Example()
{
    Vector A, B;

    A.SetIt(true, DewArray<double>{1,0, 2,0,

Overload 2: TMtxVec *ArcCot(int Index, int Len) const;

Calculate the inverse cotangens of calling object elements [Index]...[Index+Len-1] in-place.

#NameTypeDescription
1Indexint
2Lenint
Remarks:

An exception is raised if array borders are overrun.

Examples
#include "MtxExpr.h"
#include "Units.Math387.h"
#include "Units.MtxExpr.h"

using namespace Dew;
using namespace Dew::Math;
using namespace Dew::Math::Units::Math387;
using namespace Dew::Math::Units::MtxExpr;

void Example()
{
    Vector A, B;

    A = {Cplx(1, 0), Cplx(2, 0), Cplx(2, 0), Cplx(4, 1)}; // four complex values
    B.ArcCot(A); //or
    B = ArcCot(A);
}

Overload 3: TMtxVec *ArcCot(TMtxVec *X) const;

Calculate the inverse cotangens of all X object elements.

#NameTypeDescription
1XTMtxVec *
Remarks:

Store the results in the calling object. Size and Vector::Complex properties of calling object are adjusted automatically.

Examples
#include "Math387.h"
#include "MtxExpr.h"

using namespace Dew;
using namespace Dew::Math;

void Example()
{
    Vector a;
    Vector x;
    x.SetIt(DewArray<double>{ 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 });
    a.ArcCot(x);
    Vector expected;
    expected.SetIt(DewArray<double>{ 0.785398163397448, 0.588002603547568, 0.463647609000806, 0.321750554396642 });
    if (!a.IsEqual(expected, 1e-10, TCompare::cmpAbsolute))
        throw tException("Vector.ArcCot: mismatch");
}

Overload 4: TMtxVec *ArcCot(TMtxVec *X, int XIndex, int Index, int Len) const;

Calculate the inverse cotangens of X object elements [XIndex]...[XIndex+Len-1].

#NameTypeDescription
1XTMtxVec *
2XIndexint
3Indexint
4Lenint
Remarks:

The results are stored in calling object elements [Index]...[Index+Len-1]. Size and Vector::Complex properties of the calling object must be set explicitly. An exception is raised if array borders are overrun.
