Vector.ArcSec Method

Overload List

#SignatureDescription
1TMtxVec ArcSecInverse secant.
└ indexed: TMtxVec ArcSec(Int32 Index, Int32 Len)
2TMtxVec ArcSec(TMtxVec X)Calculate the inverse secant of all X object elements.
└ indexed: TMtxVec ArcSec(TMtxVec X, Int32 XIndex, Int32 Index, Int32 Len)

Overload 1: TMtxVec ArcSec

Inverse secant.

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Calculate the inverse secant for all calling object elements in-place.

Examples
Vector a = new Vector();
a.SetIt(new double[] { 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 });
a.ArcSec();
Vector expected = new Vector();
expected.SetIt(new double[] { 0.0, 0.84106867056793, 1.0471975511966, 1.23095941734077 });
if (!a.IsEqual(expected, 1e-10, TCompare.cmpAbsolute))
    throw new Exception("Vector.ArcSec: mismatch");
See Also: Vector.Sec, Vector.ArcCsc

Indexed: TMtxVec ArcSec(Int32 Index, Int32 Len)

Calculate the inverse secant of calling object elements [Index]...[Index+Len-1] in-place.

#NameTypeDescription
1IndexInt32start index
2LenInt32element count

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

An exception is raised if array borders are overrun.

Overload 2: TMtxVec ArcSec(TMtxVec X)

Calculate the inverse secant of all X object elements.

#NameTypeDescription
1XTMtxVecsource TVec or TMtx

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Store the results in the calling object. Size and Dew.Math.Vector.Complex properties of calling object are adjusted automatically.

Examples
Vector a = new Vector();
Vector x = new Vector();
x.SetIt(new double[] { 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 });
a.ArcSec(x);
Vector expected = new Vector();
expected.SetIt(new double[] { 0.0, 0.84106867056793, 1.0471975511966, 1.23095941734077 });
if (!a.IsEqual(expected, 1e-10, TCompare.cmpAbsolute))
    throw new Exception("Vector.ArcSec: mismatch");

Indexed: TMtxVec ArcSec(TMtxVec X, Int32 XIndex, Int32 Index, Int32 Len)

Calculate the inverse secant of X object elements [XIndex]...[XIndex+Len-1].

#NameTypeDescription
1XTMtxVecsource TVec or TMtx
2XIndexInt32X start index
3IndexInt32start index
4LenInt32element count

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

The results are stored in calling object elements [Index]...[Index+Len-1]. Size and Dew.Math.Vector.Complex properties of the calling object must be set explicitly. An exception is raised if array borders are overrun.
