Vector.ArcCot Method

Overload List

#SignatureDescription
1TMtxVec ArcCotInverse cotangens.
└ indexed: TMtxVec ArcCot(Int32 Index, Int32 Len)
2TMtxVec ArcCot(TMtxVec X)Calculate the inverse cotangens of all X object elements.
└ indexed: TMtxVec ArcCot(TMtxVec X, Int32 XIndex, Int32 Index, Int32 Len)

Overload 1: TMtxVec ArcCot

Inverse cotangens.

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Calculate the inverse cotangens for all calling object elements in-place. The return values are expressed in radians.

Examples
Vector a = new Vector();
a.SetIt(new double[] { 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 });
a.ArcCot();
Vector expected = new Vector();
expected.SetIt(new double[] { 0.785398163397448, 0.588002603547568, 0.463647609000806, 0.321750554396642 });
if (!a.IsEqual(expected, 1e-10, TCompare.cmpAbsolute))
    throw new Exception("Vector.ArcCot: mismatch");
Vector A;
Vector B;
A.SetIt(2,2,true,[1,0, 2,0
2,0  4,1]);  // 2x2, complex matrix
B.ArcCot(A); //or
B = ArcCot(A);

Indexed: TMtxVec ArcCot(Int32 Index, Int32 Len)

Calculate the inverse cotangens of calling object elements [Index]...[Index+Len-1] in-place.

#NameTypeDescription
1IndexInt32start index
2LenInt32element count

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

An exception is raised if array borders are overrun.

Overload 2: TMtxVec ArcCot(TMtxVec X)

Calculate the inverse cotangens of all X object elements.

#NameTypeDescription
1XTMtxVecsource TVec or TMtx

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Store the results in the calling object. Size and Dew.Math.Vector.Complex properties of calling object are adjusted automatically.

Examples
Vector a = new Vector();
Vector x = new Vector();
x.SetIt(new double[] { 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 });
a.ArcCot(x);
Vector expected = new Vector();
expected.SetIt(new double[] { 0.785398163397448, 0.588002603547568, 0.463647609000806, 0.321750554396642 });
if (!a.IsEqual(expected, 1e-10, TCompare.cmpAbsolute))
    throw new Exception("Vector.ArcCot: mismatch");

Indexed: TMtxVec ArcCot(TMtxVec X, Int32 XIndex, Int32 Index, Int32 Len)

Calculate the inverse cotangens of X object elements [XIndex]...[XIndex+Len-1].

#NameTypeDescription
1XTMtxVecsource TVec or TMtx
2XIndexInt32X start index
3IndexInt32start index
4LenInt32element count

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

The results are stored in calling object elements [Index]...[Index+Len-1]. Size and Dew.Math.Vector.Complex properties of the calling object must be set explicitly. An exception is raised if array borders are overrun.
