TVec.StringsToValues Method

Overload 1: void StringsToValues(TStrings srcList)

Convert strings in aList to double or TCplx.

Remarks:

Convert strings in aList to double. (Dew.Math.Units.Math387.Cplx) and store them in the Values array of the calling vector. If AComplex is True, then the

Dew.Math.TMtxVec.Complex property is set to True and strings are converted by using the
Dew.Math.Units.Math387.StrToCplx function. The Dew.Math.TMtxVecBase.Length of the calling vector is set to

aList.Count and the complex property is auto-detected by looking at the first string.

Overload 2: TVec StringsToValues(TStrings srcList, Int32 ListIndex, Int32 Index, Int32 Len)

Convert strings in aList to double (TCplx) starting at ListIndex.

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Store them in the Values array of the calling vector from Index to Index+Len-1. If strings represent complex numbers, then the complex property must be True or an exception is raised. The Length property of the calling vector is not changed. If array bounds are overrun and exception is raised.
