TVec.Floor Method

Overload List

#SignatureDescription
1TMtxVec FloorRounds towards negative infinity.
└ indexed: TMtxVec Floor(Int32 Index, Int32 Len)
2TMtxVec Floor(TMtxVec Src)Rounds all Src object elements towards negative infinity and stores the result in the calling object.
└ indexed: TMtxVec Floor(TMtxVec Src, Int32 SrcIndex, Int32 Index, Int32 Len)

Overload 1: TMtxVec Floor

Rounds towards negative infinity.

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Rounds all calling object elements towards negative infinity in-place.

Floor(-2.8) = -3

Floor(2.8) = 2

Floor(-1.0) = -1

Examples
Vector a = new Vector();
a.SetIt(new double[] { 1.2, 2.7, -0.5, 3.9 });
a.Floor();
Vector expected = new Vector();
expected.SetIt(new double[] { 1.0, 2.0, -1.0, 3.0 });
if (!a.IsEqual(expected, 1e-10, TCompare.cmpAbsolute))
    throw new Exception("Vector.Floor: mismatch");

Indexed: TMtxVec Floor(Int32 Index, Int32 Len)

Rounds calling object elements [Index]..[Index+Len-1] towards negative infinity in-place.

#NameTypeDescription
1IndexInt32start index
2LenInt32element count

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

An exception is raised if array borders are overrun.

Overload 2: TMtxVec Floor(TMtxVec Src)

Rounds all Src object elements towards negative infinity and stores the result in the calling object.

#NameTypeDescription
1SrcTMtxVecsource TVec or TMtx

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Size and Dew.Math.TMtxVec.Complex properties of the calling object are adjusted automatically.

Examples
Vector a = new Vector();
Vector x = new Vector();
x.SetIt(new double[] { 1.2, 2.7, -0.5, 3.9 });
a.Floor(x);
Vector expected = new Vector();
expected.SetIt(new double[] { 1.0, 2.0, -1.0, 3.0 });
if (!a.IsEqual(expected, 1e-10, TCompare.cmpAbsolute))
    throw new Exception("Vector.Floor: mismatch");

Indexed: TMtxVec Floor(TMtxVec Src, Int32 SrcIndex, Int32 Index, Int32 Len)

Rounds Src object elements [SrcIndex]..[SrcIndex+Len-1] towards negative infinity and stores the result in the calling object elements [Index]..[Index+Len-1].

#NameTypeDescription
1SrcTMtxVecsource TVec or TMtx
2SrcIndexInt32source start index
3IndexInt32start index
4LenInt32element count

Result: stored in self (calling object), returns self for chaining

Remarks:

Size and Dew.Math.TMtxVec.Complex properties of the calling object must be set explicitly. An exception is raised if array borders are overrun.
